Anna’s college friend turned long distance bestie. They met while studying abroad in Florence, Italy, and bonded over their shared love of 80s music, “The Bodyguard” & red, red wine. Ask Jackie about their trip to the Pioneer Woman’s ranch, where they even got to see Ree’s kitchen where she cooks for her hungry cowboys!
Anna’s kindergarten best friend and college roommate. They’ve been making memories for almost 25 years - from writing storybooks and choreographing dances at Karli’s parents’ house, to conquering mice and broken furnaces at their Kent apartment. Ask Karli about the time their basement flooded - but they made the best of it at the Kent bars!
One of Anna’s first friends at Kent State & basically the reason Kevin & Anna met (see Our Story page for details.) Emma and Anna bonded in their honors journalism classes and during their time as WKSU interns. Ask Emma about the Kent wine festival, or the time she and Anna partied inside the Washington Post building in D.C.
Anna’s college dorm roommate and long distance bestie. They first connected on Facebook over their shared love of Pentatonix and, once they were officially roomies, even saw the group in concert! Ask Suzanne about their dance parties and late-night heart-to-hearts in Johnson Hall.

“The Other Kevin C.” As pilot coworkers for a small company, you spend about 14 days on the road together every month. In this time they became best friends, exploring many cities together and finding fun things to do. Kevin exemplifies integrity, loyalty and kindness through all that he does and Kevin is happy to have him by his side for the big day (just don’t get the two guys confused! 😉)

Kevin’s future brother-in-law. As the creator of this website, this guy is creative and thoughtful. He makes a mean breakfast quesadilla, and is a Jackbox Trivia Murder Party champion. You can lure him in with some 70s rock, a good thrift, or a wicked haunted house (of which we’ve been to many together! 👻)
Kevin’s future brother-in-law. Kevin will always remember the first thing Jackson ever said to him: “Does our house have a smell? You know, every house has a distinct smell.” This was his bold and kind way of breaking the ice and it was fantastic. We all enjoy going to Guardians games together and celebrating their wins.
Justin and Kevin met at Kent State their freshman year on the lawn of Centennial Court D throwing a frisbee. We then discovered that Justin’s girlfriend (now wife) lived in the same residence hall, so we all became very close friends through deep conversation, PB&Js and late nights playing Titanfall.
Kevin somehow convinced Chris to be his roommate freshman year and they continued to be roommates for all 4 years. There aren’t many people who you can live with that long and continue to be great friends. Chris is a true friend and has been there for Kevin through ups and downs (he’s also a pilot, and yes that was a pun. 😜)
